Our client, a brilliant FMCG business is currently searching for a Site Financial Controller on a 15-month maternity cover contract. Based at the company’s largest manufacturing site, this role will play a key part in driving financial performance, supporting operational decision-making, and ensuring strong financial control within a fast-paced production environment.
As Site Financial Controller, you will act as the key finance partner to the site leadership team, providing financial insight and oversight across all manufacturing operations, product costing, variance analysis etc. You will ensure accurate reporting, budgeting, forecasting, robust controls, and proactive financial analysis.
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) with strong experience within mid-large manufacturing or FMCG environments, specifically with experience working in a manufacturing site of circa 600+ FTEs. You will have a proven ability to partner with operational stakeholders and influence decision-making, excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing setting.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established FMCG organisation and play a key role within its largest manufacturing site. You’ll work closely with senior leaders, gaining valuable exposure to operational and commercial finance in a dynamic production environment. Ideally, you will be immediately available, or available at short notice. They want this person to be visible on the floor, and as such require this person to be 5 days per week on-site.
