Our client is looking for a Senior Management Accountant to join their finance department based in Cardiff, Wales. The ideal candidate will be a driven professional who thrives in a dynamic, forward-thinking setting and demonstrates excellent organizational abilities. This role is 5 days in the office so you must be able to commute.
Responsibilities:
- Overview of monthly management accounts for Retail, Logistics and Central costs
- Production of budgets, forecasts and latest views to understand the impact of cash forecasting.
- Production and analysis of Store and E-commerce P&L
- Monthly review meetings with budget holders
- Quarterly review meetings with Regional Managers
- Production of monthly P&L Packs
- Interpretation of all financial/management information and make recommendations to senior management
- Provide financial management information to senior management in respect of strategic and operational decisions
- Support the commercial management team with financial implication
- Ad-hoc trading analysis of promotions / offers.
Requirements:
- Advanced with excel
- Strong experience in forecasting & budgeting
- The ability to interact with senior financial and non-financial stakeholders across the business, on a variety of both financial and non-financial matters.
