Our client is seeking a Product Designer to join the firm on a 12-month contract. This role is for a highly skilled Designer to focus on the public website.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Design Mastery: Act as a content expert, translating complex financial concepts into simple, plain English; producing varied content types while adhering to best practices, gov.uk accessibility guidelines, and balancing consistency with impact.
- Collaborative Product Design: Work within a cross-functional team to understand customer needs, solve problems, and design sensible experiences within the customer’s end-to-end lifecycle.
- Design System Execution & Prototyping: Drive design production using Figma as the primary workspace, proficiently leveraging and building prototypes and designs from established Design Systems and contributing to research activities.
- Stakeholder & Governance Leadership: Autonomously manage the design sign-off process, proactively engaging with core stakeholders and subject matter experts to drive project delivery.
- Strategic & Operational Mindset: Take ownership of work, demonstrate a strategic understanding of work impact beyond the immediate team, manage multiple projects, and be curious about operational processes, all while operating within an agile delivery mindset.
Key Requirements:
- 5 plus years experience within design
- Experience in regulated industries, ideally financial services
