We are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join a thriving, technology business based near Harpenden. The Role
You will take ownership of management accounting across the group, playing a key role in delivering timely, accurate financial information to support decision-making.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing monthly management accounts for all group entities, including group consolidation within a five-day close
- Delivering insightful variance analysis against budget and forecast, highlighting key trends and performance drivers
- Ensuring balance sheet integrity through timely monthly reconciliations
- Working closely with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams, reviewing bank and HIF reconciliations and overseeing ledger accuracy and compliance
About You
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Around 6 years’ experience in management accounting and financial reporting
- Strong Excel skills
- Able to work on-site four days per week
- Based within easy commuting distance of Harpenden supporting a 4 days in the office hybrid working model
