Head of Rewards & Performance | Global Retail Business | Permanent

Are you a seasoned Reward professional ready to take ownership of a high-profile global remuneration agenda? We’re partnering with a fast-growing, PE-backed retail business to find an exceptional Head of Rewards & Performance to join their Global HQ.

This is a rare opportunity to shape the reward and performance strategy of a business across 20+ countries — a company with the scale of a global enterprise and the energy of a founder-led business.

The Role

You will own the end-to-end annual compensation and performance cycle, lead pay benchmarking and review processes, support executive reward matters, and define the company’s Performance strategy. You’ll also have oversight of long-term incentive plans and manage a wider Reward team on global programmes.

What You’ll Be Doing

– Leading the design and delivery of the annual pay review cycle, including benchmarking and analysis

– Owning the annual compensation and performance activity calendar

– Preparing offers and termination agreements for senior management roles

– Supporting executive reward and general reward matters across the business

– Managing long-term incentive plans for the senior population

– Identifying opportunities for innovation and best practice in reward design

– Leading ad hoc reward projects and managing the wider Reward team

What We’re Looking For

– Proven experience in Compensation & Benefits or Reward, ideally within a retail or consumer-facing business

– Strong analytical and numerical skills with high proficiency in Excel and broader Microsoft Office

– Experience of executive compensation is advantageous but not essential

– Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to operate at pace in an ambiguous environment

– A self-starter mentality with strong attention to detail and a genuine passion for the reward space
