Our client, a private equity-backed manufacturing business, is looking for an experienced Finance Business Intelligence Interim for an initial engagement of six to twelve months. This is an immediate requirement, and candidates who are available at short notice are preferred.
The organisation is at an important stage of its data and reporting transformation and requires an astute finance professional who can bridge the gap between financial analysis and business intelligence delivery. The successful candidate will bring a strong foundation in financial planning and analysis, having subsequently developed meaningful expertise in BI tools and data modelling. Proficiency in Power BI or Tableau, or a comparable BI platform is essential, as is an advanced command of Excel. This is very much a role for someone who is as comfortable building robust financial models as they are designing and maintaining management dashboards and data visualisations.
You will work closely with the finance leadership team and key business stakeholders to improve reporting infrastructure, enhance data integrity, and deliver actionable insight that supports commercial decision-making. A genuine understanding of manufacturing or industrial environments would be advantageous, though the primary emphasis is on your ability to translate complex financial data into clear, reliable outputs that drive performance, ideally within a private equity setting.
The role is offered on a hybrid basis, with three days per week in the Amsterdam office required.
To be considered, you should bring experience in a senior FP&A or BI-focused finance role, strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to operate independently within a dynamic, PE-backed environment. Being a qualified accountant is a plus (CPA, ACA or equivalent).
Day rate circa €700-€850.
