Bookkeeper – Central London

We are a boutique travel company based in Central London, specialising in curated leisure and corporate travel experiences. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a meticulous and commercially aware Bookkeeper to join our team on a part-time or full-time basis.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys ownership of the numbers and thrives in a small, fast-paced business environment.

The Role

You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of the business, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting.

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing purchase and sales ledgers
  • Bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Supplier payments and commission tracking
  • VAT returns and HMRC submissions
  • Payroll coordination (liaising with external provider if applicable)
  • Monthly management accounts preparation
  • Cash flow monitoring and reporting
  • Supporting year-end processes and liaising with accountants

About You

  • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper
  • Within travel, hospitality, or a service-based SME)
  • Solid understanding of VAT (TOMS knowledge advantageous but not essential)
  • High attention to detail and strong reconciliation skills
  • Organised, proactive, and comfortable working independently
  • Based within commuting distance of Central London
