Our PE-backed client is seeking an experienced Interim Finance Transformation Lead to support the Group CFO for an initial 12+ month engagement on a 3-month rolling contract, based in Frankfurt.
You will have worked at C suite level and have the gravitas and experience to be able to work along- side the funds deal team and the Group CFO, while at the same time being hands on, delivering pieces of work yourself to assist the business who are not lacking in knowledge but lacking in senior resources knowing what good looks like to PE.
The major focus of this role will be on the manufacturing management reporting in terms of the delivery of customer profitability data, accurate production cost BI and site level P&L reporting. You will have working knowledge of power bi and S4hana and be used to delivering insightful line by line financial analysis to present to PE. You will have worked in a business where data insights are cutting edge and be able to lead teams to understand how reporting can be automated and used to answer investor questions and drive strategic change.
You will be both hands on and at the same time be able to understand PE value creation strategy and assist the CFO in bringing together best practice and standardising processes and procedures. The successful candidate will ideally have worked in a transformational environment numerous times before, in particular within a carve out / integration scenario where a business needs to come together in a newly formed organisation.
The ideal candidate will work in the office (outside Frankfurt) 4 days a week and have been a divisional CFO in a transformational PE environment many times to be able to demonstrate what good looks like.
Candidates based outside of Germany will be considered; however, you must be willing to be on-site in Frankfurt 4 days per week.
German speaking ideal but not necessary.
Excellent day rate: circa €1000-€1400.
