Management Accountant

We are looking for a Management Accountant to work four days on sit, to support a thriving business. Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of preparing monthly management accounts for all group entities, ensuring group-level consolidation is completed within a five-day close cycle
• Conduct in-depth variance analysis to highlight key trends and performance drivers against budget and forecast
• Maintain accurate financial records by ensuring all balance sheet accounts are reconciled each month
• Collaborate closely with the Accounts Payable and Receivable teams, reviewing reconciliations of bank and HIF accounts, and overseeing ledger accuracy and compliance

Requirements:

• Based within easy commuting distance to St Albans, as the position requires a hybrid working model.
• Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA or ACA) or equivalent
• 6 years of experience in management accounting, including financial reporting.
• Proficient in Excel
