We’re seeking an experienced Trading Operations Specialist with advanced Python and/or Go skills to join a tier 1 algorithmic trading firm.
Responsibilities:
- Support daily trading activity, including cash, positions and trading reconciliations.
- Identify areas of improvement and develop and maintain automated processes using Python, Go and SQL.
- Support the technology team in developing new tools and applications.
- Manage relationships with various counterparties and trading exchanges to resolve ad-hoc trading issues.
- Monitor and manage cash and collateral across multiple brokers and clearing houses.
- Produce PnL, treasury and risk reports.
- Live risk monitoring and escalation.
- Onboard new trading exchanges, brokers, counterparties, and trading products globally.
- Execute trades on an ad-hoc basis.
Requirements:
- Degree or Masters in one of the following; Mathematics, Engineering or Computer Science.
- Roughly 2-5 years of Trading Operations experience from a trading firm, market maker, hedge fund or exchange. Could be open to more/less experience for the right candidate.
- Programming and automation capabilities in either Python, Go or both.
