We are seeking a motivated accountant to join a PE-backed technology company based in Munich. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who can quickly adapt, drive process improvements, leverage strong analytical skills, and is eager for professional growth. The role will involve both management accountant and financial accountant duties, including producing sets of management accounts, preparing financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and providing key insights to support strategic decision-making.
Salary on offer up to €85k PA (depending on experience).
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, such as income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Aid in cash flow management to ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
- Offer insights and recommendations to drive business growth and profitability while informing key business decisions.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive workplace culture.
Requirements:
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
- At least 5 to 7 years of experience in an accounting position
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with the Sage X3 system is a plus, but not required
Hybrid working – 3 days per week in the office.
